Just like we ease into fall and the trees let go of their leaves, the fall is a time to be EASY on ourselves. Fall is a time to take care of ourselves with love, kindness, and generosity! When we treat ourselves gently and let go of our need to 'control', we feel more relaxed, more free, and a greater sense of ease. How can you be more kind to yourself? What can you let go of that is standing in your way of this? What can you let go of that is in the way of you achieving your highest potential?? What can you truly control and what can you not?  At the retreat we will get deeper into this concept of letting go and learn to do this along side of learning how to rejuvenate ourselves fully, and work with our energies to do so.

Say this Mantra daily, and feel your body relax as you read it: 

" It is safe to let go- allowing myself to relax and feel the ease and natural rhythm of life"

What you need to do on a Full mOOn

Two nights ago, I looked into the sky and saw a HUGE full moon glowing brightly, lighting up the night sky and everything around it. It was truly magical! The cool thing about a full moon is that it makes you look fabulous (haha) AND it signals the beginning of "letting it happen". 

What does that mean?

Well, when the moon is NEW, that is the time when we plant our seeds, get intentional in our thinking, and focus on what we want. We have two weeks to use the moon's energy for this. On week 2, the moon has cycled into a FULL moon. This is the point in which all your seeds should be planted, and you get to sit back and watch the magic happen! You get to "let" it happen! Using the energy of the cycles of the moon can help us get to where we want to be and create the life we want more quickly! Just being aware of this is powerful. Think of it as an experiment! 

Letting it happen is not as easy as you think. Often times we try to MAKE things happen, and usually it works against us. We can only do so much as humans, and we are not in control of as much as we think. So, do what you can before the full moon, then relish in the fact that the universe always delivers what we ask for if we simply ALLOW it to happen. It might take a little longer than you like, but that just means you have some more lessons to learn.

So what can you take away from this? Is there something that you can just stop TRYING so hard to make happen and maybe allow a little more? Is there some way you can chill our a little bit more so you can let the natural course of life happen?

Three Techniques to Release Your Inner Wild Woman

1. Shift into the present moment- when you are feeling blah, just use your 5 senses (well, one at a time), and notice everything all around you- sights, smells, sounds, taste, and touch. BE in the moment, and appreciate all that IS, right now. You are safe and at peace, right now. There is life happening all around you NOW.  By being in the now, you are not able to focus on the 'regrets' of the past or the 'worries' of the future. Go to NOW, and all is well. 

2. Listen to your truth- Take a moment (or 20), and just listen to yourself. Listen to your body and it's feelings and sensations. Pay attention to it. Our bodies are always trying to speak to us, if we would just take a minute to listen. Afterward, just be still, and see what comes up mentally. Chances are, it might be something chattery or unpleasant or both. If not, that's great, however, I am challenging you to listen to what you FEEL inside, in your gut or intuitively after the chatter has subsided. When you listen to your truth, you will align with who you really are, and your actions will stem from that, creating a life you love!

3. Do something creative that lights you up- After you shift into the present and then listen to your truth, now it is time to take action and do something to light you up! What is it that you love to do? What makes you feel alive? Choose something that you are passionate about and do it! Do you want to learn a language? Do you love to dance or write poetry? Do you love art museums or music? Maybe you simply want to read a good book or get dressed up or walk through the park. Whatever it is, get those creative juices flowing and do what you love! I promise after this you will feel wild and free again!
